Overland Malta 2019
Hello everyone. This post is being written to briefly explain my vision for Overland Malta for 2019. I haven’t been posting lately due to unforeseen commitments, however my new years resolution is that I put in much more work in 2019. I would like to share every step of the way with you guys.
2018 has been the first year for Overland Malta, with posts sharing Choosing an Overland Vehicle, Types of Tents and Overland Vehicles and Overland Checklist. Also shared a couple of times we managed to go to the Overland Adventure Show, Overland Adventure Show 2018 and the Sicily Trip.
The response to the above has been amazing. However I blame myself for the inconsistency. The target for 2019 is to be more consistent, to put in the work and utilise the website, Facebook page, Instagram and especially YouTube.
Looking forward to 2019. The variation of posts will tentatively be a monthly post on various categories of information. Mainly general information on building an overland rig, equipment needed to go overland and any trips we take during the year. Going forward I wish to introduce featuring rigs, whereas there would be posts featuring anyone who has a rig to share with everyone else.
Also if anyone is interested there is a Facebook Group related to this page, which is currently heavily under-utilised. The aim of this group is to help each other with builds and socialise. In 2019, this group will be used for various opportunities to meet up. Final aim is to organise two official yearly events to connect and also whoever would be interested to join us in going to Overland Shows. On the latter point, next 27th and 28th April 2019, there is the Adventure Overland Show 2019. Whoever is interested, contact me through the page and I will give you all the information needed.
YouTube will be used intermittently. At first I will try and practice my video capturing and editing techniques by exploring various areas in Malta. Hopefully then I will be able to share on a better level more overland adventures and shows. At times some videos for custom modifications will pop up. So keep an eye out for YouTube channel and turn on notifications if you like this kind of content.
To end this post off, I wish all of you and your families a Happy Christmas and a great 2019.
